Milk Ladder Summer Step Up Outline

The Milk Ladder Summer Step Up is a 1:1 service and group platform for parents and families who want to learn how to support their child with cow’s milk allergy (CMA). The Summer Step Up is over 8 weeks starting from 14th July 2025 and ending on the 8th September 2025. Families receive regular support and guidance from an expert dietitian, Lydia Collins-Hussey, The Milk Allergy Dietitian.

The aim of the Milk Ladder Summer Step Up is to provide support and information to families with children who have been advised to start the milk ladder. This includes non IgE mediated CMA and IgE mediated CMA. In IgE mediated CMA this can only be attempted with confirmation from the child’s allergy team that they are happy for the family to proceed at home. This information will be collected in the pre assessment form and agreement form.
